Spanning a period of twelve years, crackers Keenan's career was certainly one of colourful memories. Recruited from assumption college in 1970, he continued the tradition of great aussie rules footballers to emerge from this famous breeding ground. His career saw him play with a number of Melbourne based clubs including Essendon and north Melbourne with his career encompassing 240 senior games as well as a premiership with north.
His playing prowess saw him don the big "v" guernsey on four occasions as well as achieving 3rd in the club best and fairest on three occasions.
His great ruck skills has seen crackers emerge as one of the game's top ruck coaches with Geelong, St. Kilda, Collingwood and Melbourne.
Now a noted media man for both radio and c7 sport, crackers will always be one thing - his own man.
