Doug Walters' popularity as one of Australia's cricketing legends has continued long after his retirement from first class cricket. At the age of 19 he was the third youngest to score a test century. He has been very much involved in cricket - commentating on Test Matches for GTV 9, participating in the Tooheys Country Cup Matches and conducting coaching clinics for youngsters. Renowned for his humour and love of practical jokes, reflected in the many stories featured in his book One for the Road (published in October, 1988), Doug Walters shares: Cricket Anecdotes.
